About Us
We are two sisters, Camilla & Emily who are hoping that our mix of handmade, homemade, ethical & funky products will find a little niche & perhaps a customer or two.
The name came about as a result of a family joke; one year our brother came home with a birthday present for our little Mum wrapped in colourful paper depicting animals & the sounds they make (you know Lions Roar, Cats Miaow...) but underneath the picture of the ladybird it just said lovely?! Ever since it has been an accepted fact in our family that ladybirds walk along saying lovely-lovely, lovely-lovely.
Hence the name & the ladybird... we figured it couldn't hurt to try & spread a bit of loveliness...
Buying gifts should be fun but it can also be quite a chore especially if you like to look for things with a little individuality & don't have a lot of time to track them down or lots of pennies to spend on them.
We don't have a money tree in our back garden either & so we are very keen to try & offer good quality items for reasonable prices. It is also very important to us that we don't just talk about being ethical but try to live it & so wherever possible we have tried to source & act ethically.
We hope you like our little shop please tell all your friends and welcome back soon!
